Child-rearing and education

Educational activities are conceptualized in such a way as to complement a formal education. They are partially connected to the leisure-time activities organized by Drom and focus on various age groups from pre-school children to adults.

Among the educational activities organized by Drom in 2005 were: the tutoring of basic school students, courses for pre-school children and a two-tier educational program of Drom for social field workers accredited by the Ministry of Education of CR. The goal of the latter is to increase the professionalism of social field workers working in socially disadvantaged areas throughout the ČR.

Drom also continued cooperation with Foundation Verda which focuses on the financial support of apprentices and secondary school students in the form of grants and the underwriting of school fees and school tools.

Finally, Drom provides professional practice for students of various educational institutes, both in the field of pedagogical work with children and youth and social and legal consulting.
