EQUAL Mikrobus

The principal aim of the project Mikrobus maintained in the initiative EQUAL is a creation of a training system for improving of employment possibilities of /excluded/ Romanies.

The key method of work is application of assisted placement of applicants for vacancy who are at risk of long-term unemployment due to social exclusion. These services will be provided by personnel specially trained in an accredited training programme focusing on work with the target group. Furthermore, the system includes an internet database of applicants for vacancy and a database of employers. Both are tailored for Romany applicants and their needs. This is ensured by further collection of data on applicants (a type of work preferred, its time schedule, requirements concerning alternative forms of employment, etc.)

Education in form of courses focusing on personality development and acquiring of social skills is a further part of the system. The key principles are individual work with the particular client and dynamic interconnection of all components of the system which react to each other and thus self-regulate functioning of the system. This project is co-financed by European Social Fund and the government of Czech Republic.
