Reduction of Health Inequalities in the Roma Community

In 2005 Drom became involved in the European Network Sastipen, which aims to reduce the health inequalities suffered by the Roma population in Europe. The project's goal is to gather information on the health status of Roma, their comparison with mainstream society to produce recommendations and intervention strategies addressed to decision makers.

Sastipen ČR - Health Assistants in Socially Excluded Areas

The project followed the European Network Sastipen's goals. It was started in September 2005 and its objective is to create positions of health assistants, prepare training for them and finally validate their input in socially excluded areas.
